Every year between late May and mid June, newly born moose calves come into this world. On the annual Moose celebration day we celebrate all these new moose out there.
The day features lots of activities including food and drink sacrifice on the altar of moose, moose mating call competition, “where is moose” hide and seek (with real hand-picked northern moose poo), a séance to try and make contact with the moose, drawing moose into existence with pens and pencils, dancing, fortune telling etc. etc.
Anyone can take part, just bring some offerings and show up wearing something a little moosy!
